 | Golden Fleece Inn, South Chard This charming country Public House and restaurant has no pool table, loud music or fruit machines. It has been in the capable hands of Carol and Paul Bloomfield for the past five years and certainly lives up to its reputation for traditional home-cooked food. Served in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, prints by local artist Dick Sturgeon adorn the walls. Customers can sit and have a quiet drink or a home-cooked meal in front of the fire.
Away from the road our quiet and picturesque campsite (Camping and Caravanning Club Certified) is situated behind the main building on our two acre paddock. An area of peace and seclusion close to the Somerset, Dorset and Devon boarders; local attractions are not far away. Cricket St Thomas and Ford Abbey are just 5 minutes down the road. Furthermore, with Lyme Regis just 11 miles, and West Bay and Charmouth half an hour, it makes it an idyllic location. Rallies and Individuals are welcome. Click here for more information |
