Welcome to Lawn Cottage - a cosy and somewhat quirky Victorian character cottage with open views to Glastonbury Tor. Situated on a country lane in the small village of Godney on the Somerset Levels, within easy reach of Glastonbury and Wells and close to Somerset’s prime Nature Reserves including Westhay (famous for otters and starlings). Excellent local pub and tea rooms within walking distance. Many original cottage features, including flagstones and beams. One double bedroom plus one single bedroom, kitchen, sitting room, conservatory for dining under the stars in the summer. Furnished and equipped for your comfort, all new appliances in 2009 including freeview television, dvd, cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave etc. Ideal for bird-watchers, walkers and cyclists. Children welcome and dogs by prior arrangement. All linen, towels, heating and electricity included. Available for weeks or short breaks. Awarded Visit Britain 3 Stars. Memorable!

Pricing Information

Prices range from £99 for a weekend (Low Season) to £350 for a full week (High Season). Please ask us about late availability and offers. Tarrif includes all hot water, electricity, linen and towels etc. Dogs £10 extra.

Opening Dates/Times

Available to let all year round, including Christmas, New Year etc.

Additional Information

Families	Families are welcome, the cottage sleeps 2 - 3 people, plus a baby or young child if you bring your own travel cot or airbed.
Pets	Dogs are welcome, there is a £10 charge. Please bring his own bed and wipe muddy paws in the conservatory.
Special Needs	The cottage has a steep winding staircase which makes it unsuitable for those with limited mobility. A full Access Statement is available on our website or by email.
Other Facilities	Walkers and cyclists welcome. We are happy to do some basic shopping for your arrival (subject to pre-payment). Payment for accommodation can be made by paypal, BACS or cheque.
