The Walled Gardens of Cannington, nr Bridgwater

Having undergone extensive redevelopment the gardens were officially opened by HRH the Earl of Wessex, Prince Edward. The gardens have also been awarded for quality as a visitor attraction by Visit Britain.

The gardens now have classic and contemporary features such as; the 'hot' herbaceous border; the blue garden; a sub-tropical walk; and a Victorian style fernery, amongst others.

The areas of the gardens now open to the public represent only phase one of the redevelopment. As well as ensuring the continuation of a garden on this historic site, the gardens provide a dynamic learning environment for students, as well as an area of real beauty and interest for visitors.
