Exmoor House, Exmoor National ParkWhether you want to get out and about in Exmoor's beautiful scenery, explore some interesting towns and villages or simply relax, Exmoor House is the place to stay. Our characterful Edwardian house has spacious en-suite rooms with big comfy beds, a cosy guest sitting room (with log fires in winter) and a wood-panelled dining room with views of Dunkery Beacon. Great food is our speciality (and our use of local produce is one of the reasons that we've received a special award from Green Tourism as one of the top 12 out of 425 businesses that were assessed in 2008). There's a choice of breakfasts to set you up for the day and a daily-changing dinner menu. Everything's home-made, including our bread, ice cream, preserves and pickles... we're licensed too, so you can enjoy drinks from our honesty bar - there's a good choice of wines, local beers & ciders, etc. We were nominated for the UKTV Food Local Hero award in 2007 & 2008. Non-residents are very welcome to join us for dinner too - advance booking is essential!
