Burcott Inn, Wookey

Just two miles from the historic city of Wells, the Burcott Inn is a popular traditional country pub with flagstone floors, log fires and low beams. With two bars, one of which is copper-topped, the Burcott is renowned for its quality real ales (mainly from local micro breweries) and its pure brew lager beers from Germany and the Czech Republic. There is also a well balanced wine list with wines from around the world.

The Burcott offers an extensive a-la-carte menu with blackboard specials, as well as a wide range of home-cooked light meals during lunchtimes. There is a large garden with views of the Mendip Hills.
