Annie's Tea Rooms, Garden and Gallery, Wells

The essence of lazy English afternoons is captured perfectly in every aspect of the Tea Rooms, from its spotty tablecloths, vintage bone china and sparking cordials to it's home cooked breakfasts and lunches to it's traditonal Somerset Cream Teas.
The Tea Rooms marry the best of the traditional and contempoary - where else could you drink the finest teas and coffees from around the world accompanied by home made Somerset Apple Rasin and Cider Tea Bread, baked to a 200 year old recipe?

Situated in Upper Godney, between Wells and Glastonbury, the Tea Rooms are part of an ancient and natural landscape that still thrives on the doorstep. Annie's offers unique views across the Somerset Levels and Glastonbury Tor from its garden on the banks of the River Sheppey and its sunny Garden Room Gallery. The Garden Room was built using Green Oak sourced from a supplier in the village, using local craftsmen.

Families	Family friendly, child seats and benches available. Birthday and tea parties catered for. Children’s tea party fundraiser held annually.
Pets	Pets welcome, fresh water for dogs if accompanied by well behaved owners!
Special Needs	Disabled access friendly and always able to help. Can cater for any dietary requirement including vegan, wheat and gluten free diets and others. Please telephone in advance with any requests.
Other Facilities	Godney is a rural village in a sensitive area with no footpaths or street lighting. For this reason visitors are encouraged to arrive on foot, by bicycle, on horseback or by car sharing.
